What to expect when doing the assessment
Taking the Hardwires assessment is no ordinary feat. It takes a lot of courage to do such a deep dive into yourself - it takes you right back into your childhood, back to memories you may otherwise have denied and let bottle up for the rest of your life, and then wake up one day wondering why you are depressed, emotional, or full of rage. Making yourself vulnerable is not easy and is sometimes embarrassing
No Shame
But we do not believe in shame. Not caring about “shame” is the best way to free yourself from your hardwires. Because if you overcome that nasty automatic trigger of shamefulness, then you will be able to be open-minded, honest with yourself, and be able to admit when you are wrong or that you may have behaved badly in the past. Without acknowledging painful things about ourselves and answering the questions truthfully about where much of our pain and struggles today come from, we can identify the cradle of these hardwires that may now be so ingrained in how we act and behave.
If you're considering taking the Hardwires assessment, it's important to understand that it involves answering some challenging questions. This assessment is intended for individuals who:
- Have a strong desire to learn more about themselves through self-reflection.
- Are self-aware enough to recognize that certain behaviors and personality traits have caused problems in their lives, often related to relationships.
- Are willing to be completely honest about their past and present behaviors, even if it feels uncomfortable.
- Are prepared to confront issues they've been avoiding for a long time.
- Are ready to explore those less-acknowledged, darker aspects of themselves.
- Are not afraid to admit when they are wrong.
- Are prepared to face all truths about themselves without being overly concerned about potential feelings of shame.
But do not worry - your answers are totally private and will remain so.
